Living on the Great Lakes our hunting conditions can be extreme. Big water, stiff winds and lots of retrieves is the norm. After extensive research and dozens of calls we found Dodge, grandson of Shurmarks
Split Decision. Dodge has been a great golden he is very good looking, hard
charging and lives to hunt. Although we have trained our own retrievers for
years Dodge’s love to train has inspired us to become better trainers ourselves.
For several years following his arrival we have built a beautiful kennel
facility, training ponds and managed the property to make it easy for our dogs
to learn.

We currently have two males and four females who are all in intensive training to achieve their master hunt titles. We breed
three to five litters a year and spend most of our time training and spending quality time with the dogs and our two children. When the dogs are not training they can usually be found in the living room being spoiled.
Our mission is to train and breed happy, healthy golden retrievers for the purpose of providing not only a faithful companion but dogs that are also able and eager to fulfill their roll as a working field dog, (hunting, agility, obedience), while still maintaining the breed.
